Turnkey contract for Zeebrugge extension

Fluxys LNG, the owner and operator of the LNG terminal in Zeebrugge, Belgium, and wholly owned subsidiary of Fluxys Belgium, has awarded a turnkey contract for a new extension of the terminal to a consortium of Felguera-IHI, Duro Felguera, Duro Felguera Oil & Gas and Balzola.

 

The contract covers the construction of a fifth LNG storage tank as well as additional process installations and represents over €200 million. The new installations are part of the investments required to offer the LNG transhipment for which Fluxys LNG signed in March a long-term agreement with Yamal LNG.
