Tarsco, a TF Warren company, has announced a major award from Clough USA for the engineering and construction of eight API 650 storage tanks, and one ASME Sec VIII sphere.

These will be constructed in Pasadena, Texas. This award is a portion of the Ethylene-to-Alkylate facility known as “Project Traveller” owned by Next Wave Energy Partners.

Mike Blankenburg, Vice President, TF Warren and General Manager of Tarsco, said: “We are happy that another great project has been awarded for Tarsco. We will work with Clough, a major EPC contractor, on this world-class project in Pasadena.”

He added: “We have spoken with Clough and Next Wave Energy Partners and we are pleased that both have expressed their confidence in our ability to execute this work. As soon as we received word of the award, our engineering staff began work, and the steel order was placed.”

Field construction of the tanks is scheduled to begin in Q1, 2021.
