Rix Petroleum secures Norwich site for its latest depot opening

Rix Petroleum has opened a new depot site at Snetterton Business Park near Norwich, in East Anglia. The site was confirmed as secured this week.

The fuel distributor said this will replace an existing depot in Attleborough, (which is not far away, in the same county), which is no longer viable as its landlord wants to redevelop it.

The Norwich site will have ten fully bunded tanks, each with a capacity of 100,000 L, to store gasoil, diesel and kerosene, at a cost of £1 million (€1.1 million).

The tanks will use the latest technology and all electrics will be ATEX certified.
