Dentons has advised Petronas, Malaysia’s integrated petroleum corporation, on the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary Humbly Grove Energy Ltd to EP UK Investments Ltd (EPUKI), according to a statement from Dentons. 

EPUKI is a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of Energetický a prumyslový holding a.s. (EPH). This acquisition means EPH group adds to its portfolio of underground gas storage facilities, which it currently owns in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. Humbly Grove Energy Ltd owns and operates an underground gas storage facility in the UK.

The statement said that the Dentons team was led by UK Energy partner Humphrey Douglas and supported by Energy senior associate Daniel Saville and associate Michael Walton, Tax partner James Meakin, Real Estate partner Alex Coulter and associate Hannah Cockayne, and Environment and Safety partner Helen Bowdren, consultant Sam Boileau and associate Amy Morin.
