By quantifying multiple future scenarios, the Systems Navigator project team advised management on the preferred strategy in terms of investments in terminal infrastructure, equipment and throughput sensitivities.
Scenario analysis allowed the project team to find multiple ways to increase terminal throughput by a significant percentage, without detracting from customer satisfaction. As a result, the project lead to a deep insight in the current and future capacity of the terminal, debottlenecking of the terminal and recommendations for achieving better performance.
