New order for Geldof is a company first, as space between inner and outer tank is only 20mm

Engicon nv (Geldof) has announced that it has received a new order, which marks a first for the company.

It said: “We have received the order for the construction of a double-walled stainless steel tank with a volume of 1,500 m³, for a stock-listed German speciality chemicals company.”

But as to why this will be a company first, it said: “Despite the fact that we have a lot of experience in construction of various double walled tanks, this will be something new. The space between the inner and outer tank is only: 20mm!”
