Pin Oak Holdings is to construct a new liquid and chemicals storage terminal on 431 acres along the Mississippi River in Mt Airy, Louisiana. It will offer complete optionality through rail, ship, pipeline and truck access to the crude, refined product, and chemical industries.
Pin Oak Holdings also announced today that Mike Reed has been appointed CEO of the company. Reed joins after a 25-year career in the midstream business and recently held the post of president, LBC Americas. He will be responsible for leading Pin Oak through its construction, operations, and growth stages.
The terminal will be located at mile marker 144.1 in Mt Airy (neighbouring Garyville, LA) on the Mississippi and is fully permitted to construct up to 10 million barrels of storage.
