Tecam is continuing its international expansion in the environmental sector with the awarding of a new key technology project for emissions treatment in New Zealand.

This contract is Tecam’s first project in the continent of Oceania, which adds to its portfolio of installation projects in Europe, America and Asia.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tecam will supply a New Zealand steel production company with the engineering, procurement, installation and maintenance service of a Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser (RTO) system for the elimination of polluting emissions generated during production processes.

Tecam said: “Thanks to the installation of this turnkey project, this steel production company will be able to eliminate 99.9 percent of its pollutant emissions through an environmentally-friendly exhaust gas cleaning system.

“In this case, Tecam has proposed a custom RTO as the most optimal solution after analysing the technical requirements of the customer, taking into account the air flow to be treated and the nature and characteristics of the vapours emitted.”

Bernat Sala, CEO of Tecam, added: “It is a pleasure to offer effective and efficient environmental solutions to our customers worldwide.”
