Navigator announces four time-charter contracts with Mitsui to facilitate LPG exports

Navigator has announced it has entered into four time-charter contracts with Mitsui to facilitate export of Canadian LPG from Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s new Prince Rupert export terminal in British Columbia.

It said: “Our ‘handysize’ semi-refrigerated vessels will provide the capability to load ambient LPG cargoes and cool the product to the required temperature during the sea-passage across the Pacific.

“This is a new trade for the industry, for the segment and for Navigator and we appreciate the effort that has been put in by the various stakeholders in making this a reality.”
