Marathon Petroleum Corporation has acquired Noco Energy’s Tonawanda fuel terminal for $2.93 million, according to county property records.

The transaction was part of a larger deal in which Marathon Petroleum acquired 33 Noco Express stores. The Noco deal also helps Marathon maximise its refinery use, by adding the Tonawanda terminal to its network, Gary Heminger, Marathon Petroleum’s chairman and CEO said.

“The terminal is well-positioned to receive supply from the Midwest, Canada or the New York Harbor via multiple supply routes, including pipeline, truck, rail or waterborne vessels and deliver our products in this attractive new market,” said Gary when announcing the deal.
