Kinder Morgan Canada (KML) plans to construct two new distillate tanks at its Vancouver Wharves terminal, the company told Storage Terminals Magazine. $32m has been allocated for the expansion project.

The tanks will have a combined storage capacity of 200,000 barrels and KML said it expects the project to be placed in service in the first quarter of 2021.

The company will announce its earnings results for the fourth quarter of 2018, and details of its expansion plans for both Kinder Morgan, Inc. and Kinder Morgan Canada Limited on January 16.
