Harvest Midstream has announced it has commissioned two connections between two Moda Midstream facilities and its Ingleside Pipeline.

Harvest completed work on the 24 mile, 24” Ingleside Pipeline on June 23, 2020. The pipeline has a capacity of 600,000 bpd, of which 380,000 bpd is supplied by the Harvest Eagle Ford pipeline systems. It originates at the Harvest Midway Terminal, which will begin full operations on October 1, 2020.

The first connection is between the Ingleside Pipeline and Moda Midstream’s Ingleside Energy Center. The second is a bi-directional connection between the pipeline and Moda Midstream’s Taft Terminal. The latter of which allows the terminal to both receive from and deliver volumes to the pipeline.

Jason Rebrook, CEO of Harvest Midstream, said: “Just a few months after the announcement of the Ingleside Pipeline’s completion, it is a huge win for Harvest and our customers to have these new connections in place. As we continue to build capabilities to provide our customers growth potential, we look forward to being able to announce new successes in the region.”

Elsewhere, Moda also said it completed its 10 million barrel crude oil expansion at Ingleside and Taft in April, which was six months ahead of schedule. It is now working on a further 3.5 billion bbl expansion at the Ingleside site.
