Engicon nv (Geldof), said it is always looking for innovation, not only in its products but also in its regions. Last year it won its first on-site project in Morocco.
Describing the project, it said: “Our client Winxo (distributor of fuels and lubricants) wanted to double its current petrol storage capacity. Which is why they entrusted us with the construction of 14 tanks, with a total capacity of 186,000 m³.”
In the first phase, Winxo is building all the infrastructure and equipment intended for the terminal in its total capacity of 640,000 m³ as well as 186,000 m³ of storage capacity.
Four tanks of 33,000 m³ each intended for diesel, two tanks of 22,500 m³ each intended for gasoline, six tanks for base oils with a total capacity of 9,000 m³, as well as the two fire water tanks of 5,000 m³ each.
Geldof said: “The multiple new aspects – new client, new country, new legislation, makes this an extra interesting project for us, which shows the ability of Geldof to adapt to the fast-changing world that we live in.”
