Engicon nv (Geldof) said: “We have some more good news to report… While five tanks have already been renovated by us and successfully put back into service by TEAM Terminal BV, a sixth one was returned in tip-top condition on February 1, 2021.”
It added: “After filling this tank with oil earlier in the month, it is once again ready for use. But this doesn’t mean it’s time to rest on our laurels!”
It said the refurbishment of Tank 921 is still ongoing and on February 2, 2021, it received a written order for an additional tank.
Geldof said: “Like the previous tanks, Tank 925 is a big boy: with a diameter of more than 73m, we’ve got our work cut out for us. But at Geldof, we are used to thinking big and acting big; we are confident that we will finish this new tank to the satisfaction of our customer.”
