By using three distinct return pulses of ultrasound, Cygnus Instruments said its thickness gauges will remove almost all possibility of error – and simultaneously read through coatings.
“Cygnus multiple echo gauges are also extremely simple to calibrate and use,” it said.
It added that there are many within the industry who have been using Cygnus thickness metres for more than 20 years.
