08.06.16. EEMUA is to hold a seminar on Cyber Security on 14 July 2016.
Hosted in Birmingham, UK, the seminar will look at trends both in the way that industrial IT is used and at the developing threats and favoured modes of attack.
Attacks on the IT which controls and ensures the safety of industrial plant are becoming more common, sophisticated and potentially damaging, says EEMUA. Plant owners must be aware of the full range of possibilities for attack, and deal appropriately with the associated vulnerabilities.
GCHQ, Context and Chronos are among the organisations giving presentations and joining the discussion.
EEMUA says the seminar should be of interest to all those involved with industrial control systems and the business continuity of the industrial plant and processes.
