A Joint Development Agreement (JDA) has been signed by CB&I, Chevron Lummus Global (GLG) and Saudi Aramco to develop, commercialise and market crude-to-chemical technologies.

The three companies will leverage the unique technologies they each bring to the table. Specifically, CB&I’s ethylene cracker technology, CLG’s hydroprocessing technologies and Saudi Aramco’s proprietary Thermal to Crude Chemicals (TC2C™) technology will provide the platform for this joint development.

Chevron Lummus Global (CLG), a joint venture between Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and CB&I, is a process technology licensor for refining hydroprocessing technologies and alternative source fuels, as well as a global leader in catalyst system supply.

Saudi Aramco is the state-owned oil company of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a fully integrated, global petroleum and chemicals enterprise.

CB&I is a provider of technology and infrastructure for the energy industry.
