China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Company (CPECC), one of China’s largest oil and gas engineering and construction firms, has selected PPG as its primary paint supplier for a refinery renovation project in northern Algeria.
PPG provide nearly 70,000 litres of Novaguard 4801, Novaguard 840, Sigmacover 410, Sigmazinc 158 and Sigmadur 550 to CPECC for the tank renovation project, scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
The contract comes shortly after PPG was selected to provide more than 150,000 litres of coatings to Japan-based JGC to assist with renovation operations in the Hassi Messaoud southern Algeria satellite project.
