API’s Colorado division, Colorado Petroleum Council, has promoted Carrie Hackenberger to Associate Director. In her new role, Carrie will work closely with Granger in leading Colorado Petroleum Council’s legislative and policy efforts across Colorado.
This past year, Carrie helped guide the team during Colorado’s tumultuous legislative session and CPC’s executive director transition. She joined CPC in September 2016 as its operations manager. Over the years, her role evolved to include policy and regulatory analysis, social media and sponsorship management, member engagement, and event coordination.
“Carrie has been a staunch advocate for the industry since she joined this team in 2016 and she was a rock for the industry during the last legislative session, stepping up to lead in ways that went above and beyond her job description and years of experience,” said Lynn Granger, executive director of the Colorado Petroleum Council. “We couldn’t be more thrilled for her to take on this new role as she is truly an emerging leader within the natural gas and oil industry.”
