CLH Aviación Ecuador, a subsidiary of CLH Aviación, has started the operation, maintenance and commissioning activities of the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport, in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador.

The company began operating on November 5 and will carry out its concession activities over the next ten years, for which it has incorporated new supply vehicles and will implement improvements in the installation and operation.

The company was awarded the tender called by the entity airport manager, TAGSA (Terminal Aeropuerto Guayaquil SA).

José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport is one of the main airports in Ecuador by volume of activity. Last year, it managed more than 215,000 cubic meters of fuel.

CLH Aviation is a Strategic Partner of IATA and a member of the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), where it actively participates in the Technical Forum and in the Operations Committee, which implies the application of international best practices, both in operational and in the management of safety, occupational health and environmental management.

The company also participates in several committees and subcommittees of the Energy Institute, is an Affiliate Member of ALTA (Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association) and a member of ACI-LAC.
