Total, through its subsidiary Total Atlantic Trading México, has inked an agreement with Tuxpan Port Terminal and Servicios y Terminales de Tuxpan to become the anchor customer of the international fluids terminal of Tuxpan (TIFT), a terminal for refined petroleum products in Mexico.
It will have the largest capacity in this terminal, strategically located on the coasts of the state of Veracruz.
With an important storage capacity and better access to the Mexican market, Total will directly provide its refined products of high quality, mainly diesel and gasoline, to customers with an improvement in continuity, reliability and supply competitiveness. This commitment also greatly improves the group’s ability to supply its network of Total brand fuel stations in the expanding country.
