Hindustan Petroleum Company (HPC) has awarded Petrofac a $200m EPC contract for a Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) for the Visakh Refinery Modernisation Project (VRMP) in Andhra Pradesh, India.
The lump-sum engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project includes licensing and commissioning and will be constructed within the existing refinery under the terms of a 30-month contract.
