PERN has launched a tender for the construction of five tanks at Gdansk Oil Terminal, which is set to more than double its capacity.

The terminal’s current capacity of 375,000 cbm will be increased by almost 400,000 cbm upon completion of the project.

The company intends to build three tanks with a capacity of 100,000 cbm each and two tanks with a capacity of 45,000 cbm. The selected contractor will also deal with the development of technological installations for crude oil, electricity network, water and foam networks, sanitary networks, roads and automation systems. The planned date of investment implementation is 21 months from the date of signing the contract, at the turn of August and September 2020, it said.

The project will be the terminal’s second stage of development. The first stage, the construction of two oil tanks, is set to be completed in April 2020.
