NISTM’s 10th Annual National Aboveground Storage Tank Conference & Trade Show which was due to take place in Galveston, Texas on September 13th and 14th has been postponed.
In an email sent to all those registered to attend the event, the organisation said: “The catastrophic flooding from Hurricane Harvey will prevent NISTM from providing the scheduled conference and trade show on September 13-14 in Galveston. Most companies, industry professionals, and their families will be busy responding to the adversity, and damage to the transportation system infrastructure which will prevent many from attending.”
NISTM asked attendees not to ship any items for the conference & trade show and said their prayers and support go out to all who were affected.
It added: “NISTM will be working with Moody Gardens to reschedule the conference three to six months from now. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and will keep you posted.”
